Our Story
On June 12th and 13th, God spoke to us about starting Eternal Rock Church in the city of Houston. A few months after God spoke to us about launching the church, Hurricane Harvey hit the city. We immediately got involved in leading efforts to assist with disaster relief, demolition and recovery. Partnering with a local church, we began coordinating supplies, gathering resources, and sending teamsof volunteers throughout the city.
As we went from one devastated home to the other, we quickly realized that many people in our city had other storms that they needed help to recover from. Many lives were being impacted by the storms of depression, financial instability, family dysfunction, physical and emotional sickness. People in our city need to be loved and served far after the effects of a physical storm. During the recovery process, God gave us a blueprint for Eternal Rock, A local church mobilized to be God's hands and feet in the city.
